NMR Time/Access

The Bruker Avance 500 MHz NMR is setup primarily for walk-up submission of samples to the automated sample-changer queue.

The system is typically available 24/7 for trained users with after hour building access.

The sample queue is stopped and re-started to accommodate system maintenance (cryogen fills, testing, etc.) as needed.

Contact the Facility Manager for access and training requests, also for special NMR experiment requests.

The Bruker Avance 500 MHz NMR is operated as a shared resource.

Operating costs are divided between users proportional to time of use.

Users must have a completed and valid User Access/PTA Authorization Form on file to use the NMR.

If the work done with SMRL produces data resulting in a figure in a publication, please acknowledge SMRL in the publication. Further, if staff members of SMRL provided significant experimental design, data interpretation, or other intellectual contribution, then please consider these individuals for coauthorship on the publication.
